Irish spirits producer Listoke Distillery is offering a 5% stake in its business through a raffle, which aims to raise funds for further growth.
Listoke Distillery, which produces Listoke 1777 gin and Wise Owl Whiskey, is based in County Louth, Ireland. In order to fund its expansion, the Irish distiller is selling tickets for a raffle, with the aim of raising £200,000 (US$279,640).
The top prize for the raffle will be a 5% stake in the business, which will see the winner become a co-owner in Listoke Distillery.
Second prize is £10,000 (US$14,000), and third is £5,000 (US$7,000) and a case of Listoke Distillery spirits.
Funds raised through the raffle will support the growth of Listoke Distillery through brand activation and promotional work in new markets.
Bronagh Conlon, managing director of Listoke Distillery, said: “We always try and think outside the box as a company, and this is just another example of that.
“We have launched in China, Russia and America with our Listoke 1777 gin and Wise Owl Whiskey. This raffle is to fundraise for brand activation in those areas.
“As a family business, we have fun everyday creating new products and launching new ideas – we are so excited to introduce someone else to this world of fun.”
As well as a 5% share in the distillery, the winner will also receive first access to new products, access to the site’s Gin School when it is able to reopen following Covid-19, yearly dividends and 5% of the profits if the business is sold.
Tickets for the raffle cost £20 (US$28) and can be purchased online now.
